Ready to play? Let’s have some fun in the sun!
We are so excited to have our Young Athletes and Families joining us for Summer Games. Young Athletes introduces children with intellectual disabilities, ages 2–7, to the world of sports.

At Summer Games, the smallest members of our community will learn basics like balance, running, throwing, and kicking, in addition to running the 25-meter Future Stars Race; all while making new friends and having fun!

Opening Ceremony

Friday, June 6, 2025 – 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Lions Stadium, TCNJ

  • Check-in at Packer Ave – 6:15 pm – 6:45 pm
    (check-in closes at 7:00 pm sharp)
  • Parade of athletes at 7:30 pm and head into the stands

Young Athletes Events

Saturday, June 7 and Sunday, June 8, 2025

Activities – 10:30 am – 12:00 am
Dr. June Walker Field, TCNJ

  • Check-in – 10:15 am – 10:45 am
    (check-in closes at 11:00 am)

Future Stars Race – followed after Activity Stations

Participating on Saturday, June 7 or Sunday, June 8? You are invited to walk during the Opening Ceremony for the 2025 Special Olympics New Jersey Summer Games on Friday, June 6th!

Location:
TCNJ Lions Stadium
Opening Ceremony: 7:30pm
Check-in: 6:15pm - 6:45pm at Packer Hall Parking Lot




***Remember only 1 parent/guardian can accompany your child during the Opening Ceremony walk!
Young Athletes Summer Games Registration

Saturday, June 7th Registration
All Young Athletes will be participating in various of activity stations replicating our traditional sports.

Location:
Dr. June Walker Field (softball field)
10:30am - 12:00pm
Check-in: 10:15am - 10:45am
