Special Olympics New Jersey Summer Games will be held at The College of New Jersey from June 10-12, 2022.
Athletes who participate in summer sports began practicing in April and competed at local and sectional competitions in order to advance to our annual state Summer Games.
Summer sports include Bocce, Gymnastics, Powerlifting, Softball, Swimming, Tennis, and Track & Field. Schedules are available.
For registered athletes ages 2–7, there will be Young Athletes events with a unique guided-play program to show the benefits of participation.

SONJ Summer Games Vaccination Clinic
Special Olympics New Jersey (SONJ) is proud to partner with RWJBarnabas Health to provide COVID-19 vaccines for athletes and caregivers at Summer Games on The College of New Jersey campus. The vaccination clinic will take place at Olympic Village on Trenton Hall Lawn from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 12. Appointments are not necessary, and all versions of the Pfizer vaccine will be available and administered on a first come, first serve basis.
All individuals participating in Special Olympics New Jersey activities are strongly recommended and encouraged to be vaccinated, however it is not required for participation.
